According to a report by the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), three companies had a market capitalization exceeding $10 billion: Vingroup (VIC), Vietcombank (VCB), and Vinhomes (VHM), as of November 30th.
Of these, Vingroup 's market capitalization exceeded 1 trillion VND, double that of Vietcombank. Vinhomes' market capitalization reached over 422,650 billion VND. The market capitalization of these two stocks related to billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong increased sharply thanks to the bullish momentum in trading.
Other businesses with a market capitalization of around $1 billion include VietinBank, BIDV , Techcombank, VPBank, Hoa Phat, Vinpearl, FPT, PV GAS, Vinamilk, etc.
According to statistics from HoSE, November saw an average daily trading value of over 22,727 billion VND, a decrease of more than 32% compared to the previous month. Some of the stocks with the highest trading values that month included VIX, VIC, SHB, SSI, and FPT.

Foreign investors achieved a transaction value of over VND 108,209 billion during the month, accounting for nearly 12% of the total transaction value of the entire market. This group also conducted net selling with a value of over VND 7,018 billion.
As of November 30th, the HoSE had 705 listed and traded securities. The market capitalization reached over 7.49 trillion VND, an increase of 4% compared to the previous month and equivalent to more than 65% of the 2024 GDP.
Five industry indices saw gains compared to the previous month, including real estate, energy, and utilities, which increased by nearly 17%, 10%, and 2% respectively. Sector indices that recorded declines included information technology, healthcare, finance, and non-essential consumer goods.
In November, HoSE had one new stock listed and officially put into trading: PDV shares of Phuong Dong Viet Transport and Logistics Joint Stock Company.
