According to Football Magazine, at the meeting, the leader of the U.23 Vietnam team, Tran Anh Tu, said that the biggest difficulty the Vietnamese women's team is facing is moving to the training ground. Every day, the players have to travel a distance of nearly 40 km, the road is small and often congested.
“The team travels for about an hour and a half during rush hour, and sometimes it takes up to 4-5 hours round trip. Many female players are tired. I don’t understand why the organizers arranged it like that, it’s too hard,” Mr. Tran Anh Tu shared and asked the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the team leaders to work with the organizers to arrange a closer training ground.

The girls regained their spirits to prepare for the match against the Myanmar women's team and determined to win a ticket to the semi-finals of the 33rd SEA Games.

Football Magazine said that not only the women's team, but the U.23 Vietnam team also faced the same situation. In addition, the meals of the men's and women's football teams still do not ensure nutritional quality, forcing the teams to proactively buy additional food from outside to maintain their fitness for competition.
In response to these complaints, Minister Nguyen Van Hung said he would make a proposal to the Thai Olympic Committee to find a solution. Although he admitted that adjusting the training ground immediately would be difficult, the Minister affirmed that he would try to support as much as possible within his capacity. He also encouraged the department leaders and teams to make efforts to adapt to the actual conditions, aiming for the best results at the 33rd SEA Games.
