On the morning of December 5, Coach Kim Sang-sik decided to cancel the afternoon training session, allowing his players to do their own activities. After completing a light gym session at the hotel in the morning, the U.23 Vietnam team ate and rested at noon. In the afternoon, Van Khang and his teammates had about 2 hours to eat and shop together.

A player "secretly took a photo" to tease his teammates. In the right corner, midfielder Duc Anh is stroking his hair gracefully.

The chosen location is a shopping mall called The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, located only 3 km from the hotel where the U.23 Vietnam team is staying, taking less than 10 minutes to travel. Here, the players split into many groups to eat and shop. The mood of the U.23 Vietnam team was happy and comfortable during this outing. One player even humorously shared with Thanh Nien reporter: "I still don't know what to buy."
At around 5:30 p.m., the U.23 Vietnam team will gather to return to the hotel. The whole team will have dinner together and continue to prepare for the match against U.23 Malaysia, which will take place at 4 p.m. on December 11 at Rajamangala Stadium. On the afternoon of December 6, the U.23 Vietnam team will continue to practice at RBAC Stadium as usual. Meanwhile, some assistants of Coach Kim Sang-sik will go to Rajamangala Stadium to watch the match between U.23 Malaysia and Laos, which will take place at 4 p.m. to have the most detailed view of the next opponent.
