On December 7, the U22 Vietnam players visited and encouraged their U22 Laos teammate - captain Phetdavanh . Khuat Van Khang and his teammates wished Phetdavanh a speedy recovery to return to the field.
"This afternoon, before the U22 Laos team left the hotel to return home, the U22 Vietnam players encouraged the Lao player who was seriously injured. Everyone sympathized and shared, sending a little love to him to help him recover from his injury faster," said midfielder Hong Minh.

Phetdavanh was very touched because he was not only encouraged by the U22 Vietnam players, but also received a gift of 300 USD from his colleagues. He wrote a thank you message on his personal page after the beautiful actions of the young Vietnamese players.
Before that, in the 85th minute of the match between U22 Malaysia and U22 Laos, the captain of U22 Laos, Phetdavanh, had a dangerous tackle on an opponent player.
