Participating in the friendly tournament in China for the third time, the goal of coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team is to test tactics, review the force, assemble the team, and prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, taking place in December in Thailand. At 2:30 p.m. on November 15, U22 Vietnam will compete with U22 Uzbekistan, a strong opponent with good organization and technical playing style.

In the victory over U22 China, coach Dinh Hong Vinh highly appreciated the team's fighting spirit, especially the concentration at key moments. He asked his players to continue to improve their ball control, increase the speed of transition and improve efficiency in the final decisive phases.

U22 Uzbekistan lost 0-2 to U22 Korea in the first match, so they are determined to win the next match to rekindle their hopes of competing for the CFA Team China - Panda Cup 2025 championship. In the two most recent times participating in this tournament, U22 Uzbekistan won 1 and drew 1 when facing U22 Vietnam.

Uzbekistan football has become an Asian powerhouse in recent years. Their national team (A) has already qualified for the 2026 World Cup with several key players who were in the U23 squad that beat U23 Vietnam in the final of the 2018 AFC U23 Championship.

The performance against U22 Korea showed that U22 Uzbekistan played very disciplined, the core force had even professional skills, and was comprehensive in attack and defense.

U22 Vietnam has a lot of motivation and confidence after beating the home team, but still needs to correctly assess Uzbekistan's strength to build a reasonable response plan towards the goal of having at least a draw.
