On the evening of January 24th, the Vietnam U23 team returned home after winning the bronze medal at the 2026 AFC U23 Championship. The team's flight landed at 7:45 PM, but fans and media had gathered at the airport early to welcome coach Kim Sang-sik and his players.

Defender Pham Minh Phuc's family traveled all the way from Hung Yen to the airport to welcome their son home.
