Strengthening the "friendly" cooperative relationship between the two leading universities.
The series of activities takes place in the context of UEH and NEU accelerating their strategy of expanding academic cooperation, strengthening policy dialogue, and increasing contributions to socio-economic development at both local and national levels. Over decades, the two universities have built a close cooperative relationship based on sharing academic resources, training experience, research, and policy advice.
Through activities in Khanh Hoa, UEH and NEU continue to leverage their strengths, gradually forming a model of in-depth cooperation, aiming towards long-term collaborative programs, and making practical contributions to the Vietnamese higher education system and the process of international integration.

Within the framework of the program, the leaders of the two universities worked with the leaders of Khanh Hoa province, exchanging views with the Provincial Party Secretary and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on directions for cooperation in training, research, policy consulting, and human resource development to serve the locality.

In addition, the exchange of ideas between UEH and NEU focused on evaluating the results of cooperation during the 2020-2025 period; agreeing on coordinated activities towards the commemorative milestones of the two universities; and discussing the cooperation program for the 2026-2030 period, with a focus on promoting the exchange of lecturers and students, co-organizing national-level scientific conferences, as well as implementing exchange and volunteer activities.

A highlight of the program was the networking activity with local businesses, through the signing of a cooperation agreement with Khanh Hoa Salangane Nest State-owned Company Limited and a tour of the Khanh Hoa Salangane Nest production factory. This activity contributed to strengthening the link between universities and businesses, while also helping scientists access a unique production and business model associated with the local marine economic advantages.

Sharing his thoughts on the significance of the program series, Associate Professor Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Director in charge of UEH, said , "The series of activities in Khanh Hoa has continued and deepened the cooperative relationship between NEU and UEH - a relationship built over decades and now being transformed into increasingly substantive, in-depth cooperation programs aimed at long-term impact."

Associate Professor Bui Huy Nhuong - Director of NEU - also emphasized that the series of activities in Khanh Hoa is proof of the increasingly substantive development in the cooperative relationship between NEU and UEH. "NEU always considers UEH as a strategic partner and companion. Through the connection between scholars, sharing knowledge and experience, the two universities share the common goal of improving the quality of training and research, thereby making practical contributions to the socio-economic development of the country and localities," the NEU representative shared.
