Elon Musk owns SpaceX, which provides the Starlink satellite communications service that is crucial to Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, but some of his statements have sometimes upset Kiev.

On Monday (October 2), Musk posted a meme on his X platform showing a mock image of Zelenskyy with the caption: "When 5 minutes have passed and you haven't asked for a billion dollars in aid."
As is known, the Ukrainian leader and his top subordinates have repeatedly called on allies for military aid to respond to Russia's attack, especially after the US Congress recently suspended aid to Ukraine.

Ukraine's parliament has hit back at Musk, accusing him of spreading Russian propaganda. The Ukrainian parliament reposted a meme of Musk with the caption: "When 5 minutes have passed and you haven't spread Russian propaganda."
Ukrainian officials have previously criticized Musk for the billionaire's suggestion that they should consider ceding land for peace , a view Kiev has firmly rejected.
Mr Zelenskyy visited the US in September and met with top officials to secure more aid. Aid for Ukraine was removed from a stopgap funding bill passed by Congress over the weekend to avert a US government shutdown.
The US has been the biggest donor to Ukraine since the fighting with Russia last year, providing hundreds of billions of dollars in military, humanitarian and financial aid.
