Applying heritage in creativity

On November 8, the seminar "Application of heritage in creativity" will be held at Ho Van, Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam within the framework of the Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025, taking place from November 1-16.

The seminar "Applying Heritage in Creativity" is the kick-off activity of the project "Change with Respect" - an initiative aiming to establish a fair and ethical cooperation framework between artisans, designers and the Vietnamese creative community.

The seminar "Application of heritage in creativity" is an event that brings together scientists , legal experts, heritage managers and the creative community to discuss the ethical and legal challenges in exploiting intangible cultural heritage in contemporary cultural products.

The event will focus on the four core principles of "Change with Respect": Fair Pay; Respect for Intellectual Property; Sustainable Knowledge Transfer and Ethical Manufacturing Practices

The seminar is not only a place for academic and practical exchange, but also a declaration of the beginning of a journey to create a Vietnamese Design and Craft Ethics Code and a Transparency Certification System in the creative culture industry.
