Less than a day after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city sent an open letter, the amount of money donated to support people in the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam affected by floods has reached more than 3.9 billion VND.

According to statistics from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City, as of 5:30 p.m. on November 24, 2025 (less than 24 hours after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city sent an open letter), 3,200 groups, individuals, businesses, and units had supported people affected by floods with an amount of more than 3.9 billion VND.

Many units have flexible ways of doing things such as mobilizing direct support, receiving funds online, posting phone information and addresses for receiving donations on fanpages, websites, and local and unit information portals...

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city continues to call on agencies, units, enterprises; socio- political organizations; philanthropists; cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and all people of the city to actively respond to the campaign; join hands to support people in the Central Highlands provinces with funding, necessities, clean water, medicine, food and essential items to help people affected by floods to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong city mobilized and received support from November 23 to December 23, 2025.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai An Ward Nguyen Van Quang said that on November 24, the unit received and transferred 600 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City to promptly support people in disaster-hit areas to overcome the consequences of floods.

Previously, on November 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai An Ward sent an open letter calling on agencies, units, businesses, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, and philanthropists in the ward to join hands to support flood victims to overcome current difficulties.

The support receiving activity is maintained from November 23 to December 23, 2025 at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai An ward and through the unit's receiving account.
