On the morning of April 24, continuing the 44th Session, under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Vu Hong Thanh chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong presented a summary of the Draft Law. Next, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee Phan Van Mai presented a summary of the review report of the Draft Law.

Also in this morning's working session, the National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed the Government's report on thrift practice and waste prevention in 2024; reviewed and decided on principles, criteria, and norms for allocating regular expenditure estimates of the State budget in 2026.
