From the Then verses, the Tinh lute echoing in the great forest, to the Luon and Sli verses, the Chau dance bustling throughout the villages, all create a unique harmony of Cao Bang folk culture. There, each melody, each dance rhythm is not only a performing art, but also the voice of the soul, the breath of the nation's roots. Currently, the whole province has nearly 150 artists; in the past 2 years, many cultural and artistic activities in the province have been successfully organized; the artists regularly follow closely the political tasks of the province, research, preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the province's ethnic groups to build and stage performance programs serving the province's political tasks, performing for the people, especially the people in remote, isolated and border areas, achieving encouraging results.
Performing arts programs, cinema, fine arts, exhibitions... not only meet the requirements of political tasks, the people's need for cultural enjoyment, serve the activities to celebrate major holidays but also contribute to strengthening the great national unity, promoting the image of the homeland, country and people of Cao Bang. Every year, the Provincial Art Troupe performs for people in remote areas, border areas, and ethnic minority areas with art programs and performances imbued with national culture; practices, performs, serves, and disseminates information and propaganda nearly 200 times/year... The Provincial Culture and Tourism Information Center directly supports and builds many models and clubs of Then singing, Tinh lute, and folk singing in hamlets and communes in the province.

Meritorious Artist Lam Thi Minh Hue, Provincial Art Troupe shared: For us, each performance is not just a job, but a journey to spread love for national culture. When bringing traditional songs, dances, and music to people in remote areas, I clearly feel the pride and emotion of the audience, they receive art with all their hearts. What moves me most is when I see the bright eyes and smiles of the people after each performance, that is the greatest reward for an artist.
To promote the strengths of tourism, the province has identified the preservation and promotion of folk song and dance values as one of the important solutions to develop tourism in a sustainable direction. Implementing the Project "Preserving and promoting the values of folk songs, dances, and music of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in the period 2022 - 2030 in the province", the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directs and guides localities in the province to maintain and promote the mass cultural and artistic movement to operate in an orderly and effective manner. Currently, in the province, there are more than 700 art troupes operating regularly in residential groups, hamlets, etc.
The Provincial Association for the Preservation of Folk Songs of Ethnic Groups has 10 branches in communes and wards, with nearly 2,200 members, regularly researching, collecting, composing new lyrics for folk songs. The work of teaching folk songs has always been of interest, with the active and enthusiastic participation of artists and artisans. With a spirit of creative work, full of passion and enthusiasm, many names, many writers, many works in the fields of literature, photography, fine arts, and music have been listed on the Vietnam Literature and Arts Forum. The works have been in-depth, contributing to raising awareness of preserving the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic groups, demonstrating the sharpness of artists on the ideological and cultural front, actively participating in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views.
Meritorious Artist Hoang Kim Tue, Vice President of the Provincial Association for the Preservation of Folk Songs of Ethnic Groups, said: “With talent, enthusiasm and creativity, the team of artists has created works with new content and performance styles, contributing valuable voices to nurture and cultivate the souls and emotions of cadres, party members, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups in Cao Bang province. Reality shows that wherever there is singing and dancing, the spiritual life of the people is richer and people are closer together. Art not only beautifies life, but also makes people know how to be good, know how to share and appreciate the values of life.”
Amidst the bustling flow of modern society, culture and art still play a role as a “soul’s harbor”. In the remote border area of Cao Bang, art lovers, from folk artists to young artists, still persistently sow the seeds of culture and art every day, so that Cao Bang is not only beautiful in its landscape, but also shines with the beauty of its national culture.
