On the last day of the year, many young people and families visit the Temple of Literature - National University to enjoy the spring festivities and take New Year's photos. The sidewalks along Quoc Tu Giam Street are brightly decorated to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.
The entire perimeter fence of the historical site is covered with rustic bamboo, serving as a backdrop for clusters of symbolic horse figurines, hanging signs reading "Peace, Prosperity and Good Fortune," and lanterns adorned with Vietnamese calligraphy, reflecting the rich cultural and scholarly heritage.
This is part of the space being prepared for the 2026 Spring Calligraphy Festival, where visitors can experience receiving calligraphy blessings at the beginning of the year and participate in traditional activities in the Ho Van area opposite.
