The "Ancient Music Moonlight" program, produced by Ho Chi Minh City Television (now Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station), officially launched in 2001. Over the past 25 years, the program has contributed to promoting, preserving, developing, and honoring Southern Vietnamese Cai Luong and Vong Co (traditional opera and folk music) in community life; bringing traditional national culture closer to the public and modern audiences; spreading love for the homeland, values of compassion and loyalty, and nurturing the souls and feelings of love between artists and appreciative audiences.

In particular, this is a traditional art stage that Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station has strived to maintain. The programs are elaborately staged, serving as a platform to connect veteran and younger generations of artists, allowing them to interact and perform classic songs and excerpts from Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera). The stage also serves as a launching pad for many young artists to participate and shine in their careers, nurturing and introducing new talents to traditional Cai Luong art.

In the 260th edition of the "Ancient Music Moonlight" program, the production team hopes to present to television viewers and the public who love Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) music with traditional songs and cheerful musical performances, conveying the meaning of welcoming a peaceful new spring, celebrating family affection, romantic love, sharing the aspirations and dreams of youth towards the future, and the happiness of family reunions of grandparents, parents, and loved ones before the New Year...

The program features People's Artists: Le Thuy, Thanh Nam, Trong Phuc, Thanh Ngan, Phuong Loan; Meritorious Artists: Kim Tu Long, Phuong Hang, Bao Tri, Vu Luan, and many more. artist.
