Tam Ky City Children's Fine Arts Competition 2025 with the theme: "Tam Ky in my heart" organized by the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City in coordination with the City's Center for Culture, Sports and Communications at Vuon Cua, Hoa Huong Ward. This is one of the series of activities of the Festival "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025".
The contest attracted 48 talented students from 14 primary schools and 10 secondary schools in Tam Ky city.
Coming to this year's contest, Nguyen Pham Yen Nhi - class 5/3, Phan Thanh Primary School, Tam Thang commune chose the topic "We and the Cua Garden".
The work is in bright green tones, in the middle is the road leading to Huong Tra village, on the road is the image of a teacher and students walking under the shady sua trees, on the green leaves are bright yellow sua flowers. The painting was done by Yen Nhi in more than 60 minutes, she was the contestant who completed the work the fastest in the contest.
“I find the scenery in Vuon Cua very poetic, with rows of ancient sua trees with bright yellow flowers shading the village road. Through this work, I want to introduce the beauty of sua flowers to everyone” - Nguyen Pham Yen Nhi shared.
The 2025 Tam Ky City Children's Fine Arts Competition is not only an artistic activity, but also an opportunity for young artists to express their emotions and thoughts through innocent and creative drawings. Each painting will be a story about nature, the environment, and love for the beautiful homeland of Tam Ky, thereby contributing to spreading the cultural value of the Sua flower festival.
Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu - class 7/7, Huynh Thuc Khang Secondary School said: "When I sat drawing under the sua trees at Vuon Cua, I felt very comfortable, the scenery gave me many creative ideas for my painting. And I wanted to depict one of the exciting activities held during the sua flower festival, which is boat racing. This is an activity that is deeply imbued with the culture of the people of the Central region and demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and unity."

As a result of the contest, Nguyen Linh Nhi, Vo Thi Sau Primary School and Thai Nguyen Van Giang, Le Hong Phong Secondary School won First Prize. Second Prize went to Nguyen Bao Tram, Chu Van An Secondary School; Nguyen Thi Bao Thy, Ngo Quyen Primary School. The Organizing Committee awarded 7 Third Prizes, 11 Encouragement Prizes and 2 Promising Prizes to the other contestants.
Mr. Tran Van Ha - Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City said: "Unlike previous competitions, this year, the Organizing Committee arranged for the students to perform their works on easels to demonstrate professionalism and expect to have excellent works. Also through this competition, the city will select students with high achievements to participate in the provincial competition held in the near future".

According to Mr. Ha, this year's contest was a success with the enthusiastic response of many students and the attention and support of teachers and parents. Through skillful and creative strokes, the contestants created vivid and colorful paintings that not only depicted the beauty of the Su flowers and Huong Tra village, but also the beauty of the land and people of Tam Ky city.
