For artist Truong Van Ngoc, each work is both an emotion and a connection between people and nature and life. Watercolor paintings require stillness, patience, and depth... so each time he creates, it is a moment for the artist to slow down and enjoy the beauty of spring.

Watercolor, with its transparent, soft, and easy-to-blend properties, creates a dreamy, gentle feeling and is always considered suitable for expressing the beauty of spring. However, this material is difficult to control, so artists need to be technically solid and have subtlety and sensitivity when creating.

Spring brings a surge of energy: the earth and sky seem to awaken, life blooms and spreads everywhere. That is why I chose to paint spring, to both capture the beauty of nature and convey a gentle yet powerful feeling to everyone as a good wish for all faith and hope.

Each work of artist Truong Van Ngoc is like a dance of time. Each white apricot blossom gently blooms, the pure daffodils, the round chicks like silk rolls... or the peaceful shores with a boat as thin as a painted line, herds of buffalo leisurely grazing in the mist, the mountains and rivers reflected like a watercolor painting.

The combination of the elegant beauty of daffodils and the innocence and purity of chicks.

All of this gives viewers a feeling of relaxation, escaping the hustle and bustle of life to immerse themselves in a world of colors, lights and emotions, and from there, to understand more deeply about themselves and the meaning of life.

The highlight of Truong Van Ngoc's watercolor paintings is the meticulous use of flowers typical of spring. Narcissus, apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, and large chrysanthemums are the flowers that appear most frequently in Truong Van Ngoc's paintings. Each flower brings a message, a separate symbol of spring, and the artist has gracefully "invited" them into his work with his own unique source of emotions and style.

Silk material gives a deeper, more suggestive feel.

Narcissus - the flower symbolizing elegance and purity in Truong Van Ngoc's silk paintings is fresh and pure like new beginnings. Apricot and peach blossoms have a beauty that is close, graceful, peaceful and lasting. Large chrysanthemums symbolize prosperity and vitality with warm and familiar colors.

Quiet, peaceful beauty.

Besides the blooming spring flowers, painter Truong Van Ngoc also has a lot of affection for the spring shores. These are images of mountains and rivers, boats, wharves, and familiar, simple scenes that contain many memories and hopes of each person.

Evocative colors in Truong Van Ngoc's watercolor paintings.

In these paintings, the small boat drifting slowly along the water creates a peaceful and poetic space. The painting often features clouds drifting slowly against a clear blue sky, with the still water below reflecting like a mirror.

In every stroke, I always seek harmony between man and nature, like a quiet song, where every sound, every image blends together in absolute serenity. It is those peaceful moments that help me understand that, sometimes, the greatest beauty is silence, where the soul can listen to the beat of the earth and sky.

Not stopping at selecting and depicting the beauty of nature, each work brings a message about a simple, slow life, where people and nature blend in a magical balance.

Each flower, mountain, river, ferry, wharf... bears the mark of national culture, closely associated with childhood memories and traditional values. In the middle of spring, both the painter and the viewer seem to embark on a journey back to their roots, rediscovering old values, peaceful moments of a bygone era.

A classically inspired piece.

Every stroke, every color block is meticulously cared for by Truong Van Ngoc, from the bright colors of flowers to the cool green of grass and trees, from the warm brown of the soil to the clear blue of water. The elements combine to create a peaceful and artistic space.

Truong Van Ngoc's watercolor paintings do not tend to stir emotions in a loud, strong way, but capture people's hearts with their gentleness and calmness. Each line in the painting is carefully crafted, just enough to outline the beauty of the scene, and most importantly, it evokes the space for the viewer's thoughts and emotions to unfold in different ways.

The artist's calmness and steadfastness is also a message that sometimes, true beauty does not lie in ostentation, but in serenity, simplicity, and the ability to find joy in the most peaceful things.
