Location of intersections and gas stations on the North-South Expressway put into operation on the occasion of April 30 - May 1

(Chinhphu.vn) - To ensure traffic order and safety, and facilitate people's travel during the April 30 - May 1 holidays and the summer peak, the Vietnam Road Administration (Ministry of Construction) has just informed about the intersections and gas stations on the Eastern North-South Expressway component project routes expected to be put into operation on April 30, 2025.

Intersection on Bai Vot - Ham Nghi highway

Accordingly, the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi component project, 35.28 km long, has 3 intersections: QL8A intersection at Km479+117 connecting the expressway with QL.8A to Cau Treo border gate, Hong Linh town and QL.1. On National Highway 8A, there is 1 gas station No. 57, on the right, 400 m from the intersection and 1 gas station on the left at the beginning of Hong Linh town, about 1 km from the intersection.

In addition, the DT.548 intersection at Km494+548 connects the expressway with DT.548 to Nghen town, the historical site of Dong Loc T-junction and National Highway 1. On provincial road 548, there is a gas station on the right about 500 m from the intersection towards Dong Loc T-junction. The DT.550 intersection at Km509+852 connects the expressway with DT.550 to Ha Tinh city, the bypass of Ha Tinh city and National Highway 1. On provincial road 550, there is a gas station on the left, about 500 m from the intersection.

At the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang Component Project , 54.20 km long, there are 3 intersections: Cam Quan intersection at Km527+580 intersecting with the connecting route of National Highway 1A; Ky Trung intersection at Km555+509 intersecting with Highway DH.139; QL.12C intersection at Km568+126 intersecting with Highway 12C. At the exit/incoming branches of the intersection with the current national highways, there are gas stations to meet the demand.

Bung - Van Ninh component project , 48.84 km long, has 4 intersections: Cu Nam intersection at Km626+690, about 4 km to the south of the intersection with petrol service ( Ho Chi Minh road route about Km954+500); Viet Trung intersection at Km643+480, about 3 km to the south of the intersection with petrol service (Ho Chi Minh road route about Km985+500); Nhat Le 2 intersection at Km653+850, at the branches entering and exiting the intersection there are petrol station services; QL.9B intersection at Km673+750, at the branches entering and exiting the intersection there are petrol station services.

The Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, and Bung - Van Ninh component projects were all technically opened to traffic on April 19, and are expected to put the main route into operation on April 28, 2025.

For the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project , 83.35 km long, more than 70 km of the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway has been put into operation (from the intersection with National Highway 27C to Van Gia intersection) with 4 intersections: Co Ma intersection at Km285+000 connecting to the Co Ma southern tunnel approach; Van Gia intersection at Km298+800 connecting to National Highway 1; National Highway 26 intersection at Km332+100 connecting to National Highway 26; National Highway 27C intersection at Km368+350 connecting to National Highway 27C and the Nha Trang - Cam Lam expressway project. At the exit/incoming branches of the intersection with current National Highways, there are gas stations to meet the demand.

The Ben Luc - Long Thanh component project , 57.8 km long, passing through 3 provinces, Long An city, Ho Chi Minh city and Dong Nai, by the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), has temporarily put into operation the following sections: from the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong intersection to National Highway 1 (about 3 km); the section from the Phuoc An intersection to National Highway 51 (about 7 km) and opened to technical traffic nearly 20 km more from the National Highway 1 intersection to Nguyen Van Tao intersection (Nha Be district).

This project has 6 expressway intersections, including: Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong intersection Km0+600 intersecting with Saigon - Trung Luong expressway; QL.1 intersection Km3+400 intersecting with QL.1; QL.50 intersection Km13+500 intersecting with QL.50; Nguyen Van Tao intersection Km21+713 intersecting with Nguyen Van Tao and Nguyen Huu Tho streets; Phuoc An intersection Km50+530 intersecting with the entrance to Phuoc An port; QL.51 intersection Km57+580 intersecting with QL.51.

Currently, the branches entering and exiting this intersection with national highways and roads all have gas stations to meet the demand.

Particularly for the Cam Lo - La Son route connecting Quang Tri with Hue, which is about 98.3 km long, a temporary rest stop has been arranged at Km64+200 on the left side of the route and Km77+800 on the right side of the route.
