[Video] UNESCO is reviewing two world heritage dossiers of Vietnam

At the 47th Session of the World Heritage Committee taking place in Paris (France), two Vietnamese heritage profiles were included by UNESCO in the list of World Heritage sites to be considered for registration.

The first dossier is the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex, including historical – cultural relics and outstanding landscapes in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Bac Giang and Hai Duong. This is an inter-provincial dossier, representing the unique cultural – spiritual space of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect, with outstanding global value in terms of history, architecture, beliefs and landscape.

The second dossier is Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park (Vietnam) and Hin Nam No National Park (Laos) – a multinational dossier to expand the scope and value of the World Natural Heritage that has been registered. Connecting the two reserves will contribute to promoting regional cooperation in biodiversity protection and preserving cross-border ecosystems.
