Payment of 3 months' pension in cash in 4 Central provinces is expected from December 5.

Implementing the Government's direction in Resolution No. 380/NQ-CP dated November 25, 2025 on solutions to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and restore production in localities in the Central region and Official Dispatch No. 3145/BHXH-TCKT dated November 27, 2025 of Vietnam Social Security on the payment of 3 months of pension and social insurance benefits (December 2025, January and February 2026); Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) has issued a document guiding the Post Offices of 4 provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong on the payment of 3 months of pension and social insurance benefits in December 2025.

To ensure the payment is safe and convenient, the Post Offices of the provinces proactively develop payment organization plans, fully prepare resources to participate so that the payment is safe and convenient; pay special attention to the beneficiaries who are the elderly, the sick, the disabled, and those who are no longer able to travel to organize home payments, ensuring that no one is left behind. At the same time, report to the authorities at all levels on the plan to organize lump-sum payments in the province and city.

Provincial Post Offices closely coordinate with local authorities and social insurance agencies to clearly inform and propagate about the time and place of payment as well as the total amount of money people will receive in 3 months (December 2025 and January and February 2026), ensuring that beneficiaries clearly understand the payment plan.

Field inspections at the grassroots level have also been strengthened, especially in severely damaged areas where beneficiaries had to relocate and evacuate after storms and floods, in order to promptly update changes, avoid errors, and ensure payments to the right people and in the right regime. At the same time, visits and support for beneficiaries directly affected by natural disasters have been organized, demonstrating the spirit of social responsibility and mission of serving the community of Vietnam Post.

To minimize the payment time, so that beneficiaries can receive pensions and social insurance benefits as soon as possible, the provincial post offices will organize continuous payments on working days and on Saturdays and Sundays with flexible organization plans depending on the conditions of each locality. Direct payments at payment points are expected to start from December 5, 2025.

The payment of 3 months of pension and social insurance benefits is a timely policy of the Government , helping people in disaster areas have more resources to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and celebrate Tet in the best possible conditions.

Vietnam Post identifies the payment of pensions, social insurance benefits, payments to meritorious people and social protection as a particularly important task, given top priority. Vietnam Post commits to strictly implementing the principle of timely payment, correct amount, correct recipient, ensuring safety in all situations. Thereby continuing to affirm the role of "extended arm" of Vietnam Post in implementing the State's social security policies.
