Young soldiers are preparing supplies and getting ready for the 2026 military training camp. Corporal Nguyen Thanh Son, a soldier from the 7th Air Defense Company, shared: “Participating in emulation activities celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year at our unit is an honor for every soldier. We always maintain the mindset that after the joyful days of the Lunar New Year, we must immediately return to our duties with renewed enthusiasm, actively train, strictly adhere to discipline, and be ready to accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks.”

Soldiers of the 7th Anti-Aircraft Company are training for combat readiness.

In maritime and island areas, training and combat readiness play a particularly important role in firmly protecting national sovereignty from the sea. Therefore, the Command of the 6th Special Zone - Con Dao always proactively develops plans and implements training to master technical and tactical skills, and organizes close coordination with units such as border guards, navy, coast guard, and air defense to manage and firmly protect the maritime border, preventing any passive or unexpected situations.

Colonel Tran Van Chung, Political Commissar of the Command of Military Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone, emphasized: "In all activities, the spirit of emulation in overcoming difficulties for the sake of the mission creates the overall strength of the unit. Building on the enthusiastic spirit of Tet, we are stepping up emulation activities, focusing on building political fortitude, raising the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers, overcoming the lingering effects of Tet, and resolutely completing our tasks well, contributing to maintaining national defense and security in the Con Dao area."

To avoid inertia after the Tet holiday, the Party Committee and Command of the 6th Special Zone of Con Dao organized a briefing and review of resolutions, directives, and orders from higher levels regarding training, combat readiness, and the unit's key tasks for 2026.

During the flag-raising ceremony at the start of the new work week, the unit commander emphasized the importance of deploying tasks in line with the unit's specific professional characteristics; strictly maintaining daily and weekly schedules and activities of the emulation teams; recording objective and honest feedback on the emulation bulletin board to encourage outstanding collectives and individuals; and simultaneously correcting any signs of negligence or lack of determination from the very first day and week.

Lieutenant Colonel Ma Le Thanh Phuong, Commander of the Command of Military Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone, shared: "This year, the unit organized very effective activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year. We hope that, with the spirit of the new spring and new victories, all officers and soldiers of the unit will strive to do well in all preparations for the tasks of troop handover, elections, and training deployment; while maintaining strict combat readiness, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, and building Con Dao into an increasingly prosperous and developed area."
