Vietnamese expatriate from Laos scores 2 goals, 'creating an upset' against Ho Chi Minh City Police FC.

Lao-Vietnamese striker Damoth Thongkhamsavath scored two goals against Ho Chi Minh City Police FC, helping Thanh Hoa FC pull off a surprise victory in Round 13 of the V-League 2025-2026.

Thanh Hoa FC is facing both financial and personnel shortages. However, they played with great effort and drew 2-2 with the reigning champions Nam Dinh in round 12.
