Overview of the Conference.
ADGSOM is a multilateral cooperation forum at the senior official level, responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and preparing the content for the ASEAN Digital Ministers' Meeting, as well as promoting the implementation of digital cooperation initiatives in the region.
At the 6th session, Vietnam assumed the chairmanship of ADGSOM, demonstrating its commitment to making a positive contribution to building an inclusive, sustainable, and people- and business-centered digital ASEAN.
As the Chair of ADGSOM for the 6th time, Vietnam will coordinate with ASEAN member states and the ASEAN Secretariat to coordinate the implementation of the digital agenda in a practical, inclusive, and sustainable manner. Priority will be given to promoting the implementation of the ASEAN Digital Master Plan 2030 with a focus on people and businesses; strengthening coordination between digital policies, cybersecurity, and digital economic development; and expanding cooperation with dialogue partners and international organizations.
The ADGSOM meeting also noted positive progress in ASEAN's digital cooperation in recent times, including enhanced coordination in combating online fraud; promoting initiatives on artificial intelligence and digital data governance; facilitating cross-border data flows; and strengthening cooperation in protecting digital infrastructure and cybersecurity.
In addition to intra-ASEAN meetings, in the following days, ADGSOM will also conduct dialogue sessions with various ASEAN partners in the digital sector to review the cooperation situation, exchange common priorities, and discuss future cooperation directions, aiming to ensure complementarity between ASEAN initiatives and partner cooperation programs.

The results and reports of the 6th ADGSOM Meeting will be compiled and submitted to the 6th ASEAN Digital Ministers Meeting (ADGMIN) for the Ministers to review and decide on appropriate cooperation directions to promote ASEAN's digital agenda in the coming period.
With a spirit of solidarity and close cooperation, Vietnam expects the 6th ADGSOM Meeting to achieve high consensus, creating a solid foundation for decisions at the 6th ASEAN Digital Ministers' Meeting, and making practical contributions to the process of building a dynamic, resilient, and sustainable ASEAN Digital Community.
