Vietnam recorded strong international tourism growth: in the first 11 months of 2025, it welcomed over 19.1 million visitors, an increase of 20.9% compared to the same period in 2024 and exceeding the 18 million mark of the whole year of 2019. In November 2025 alone, nearly 2 million international visitors, the third highest month since the beginning of the year (after January and March). According to UN Tourism, Vietnam's recovery is among the fastest in the world, along with Japan, in the context of Asia - Pacific only recovering 90% compared to before the pandemic.

Highlights of November 2025: Long-distance customers increase sharply
Data from the General Statistics Office ( Ministry of Finance ) shows that in November 2025, there was an increase of 14.2% compared to the previous month and 15.6% compared to the same period in 2024. The customer structure has a breakthrough in the high-spending group, especially from North America and Europe.
- North America: US up 30.5% month-on-month; Canada up 55.9%.
- Europe: up 51.2% compared to October. Some notable markets: Russia 37%, UK 31.8%, France 46.7%, Germany 51.4%, Italy 88.9%, Switzerland 47.3%, Czech Republic 148.8%, Poland 255.6%.
According to the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism), this picture reflects the trend of attracting visitors from distant markets to Vietnam during the peak season at the end of the year.

In the 11 months of 2025, the Chinese market increased by 43.1% compared to the same period in 2024; Japan increased by 15%; the US increased by 8.4%. The good growth of the European bloc shows the effectiveness of the visa exemption policy to enter Vietnam. Notably, Russia reached 593 thousand arrivals, an increase of 190.9% over the same period, maintaining its position as Vietnam's largest market in Europe and the fastest growing market in the region.
The above results come from a combination of favorable visa policies, enhanced promotional activities, and large-scale events in many localities, thereby increasing the attractiveness of Vietnam as a destination.
