During the State visit to Laos by General Secretary To Lam , his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, many working sessions took place between leaders of the two countries' departments, ministries and localities.

On the afternoon of December 2, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee, reported on the situation in Vietnam this year, emphasizing the results achieved in the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus and political system; stating that this process will continue to be improved to better meet the requirements and tasks of the new situation.
Comrade Sisay Ludetmounsone discussed the situation in Laos, Party building, political system building, professional expertise in organizational work, cadres, party members, internal political protection; and cooperation between the two Central Organizing Committees of the two Parties.
The two sides also agreed on the direction of cooperation in the coming time; regularly exchange information and share experiences in Party building and political system building; continue to advise on organizing research classes and thematic exchanges for leaders and managers at all levels to exchange and study; continue to organize training and fostering for young cadres and cadres of border provinces of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia; maintain cooperation between the Party Building Magazine, promote propaganda work on the special relationship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.
Hanoi - Vientiane continue close and sustainable cooperation
This afternoon, Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, held talks with Comrade Anouphap Tounalom, Secretary of the Vientiane Party Committee, Laos. Comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc congratulated Laos on its important achievements after 50 years of founding the country and 40 years of renovation; emphasized Hanoi's respect for the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos and considered Hanoi-Vientiane cooperation an important content in the relationship between the two countries.

The two sides highly appreciated the results of cooperation in the 2022-2025 period, especially projects on Party building, education, health, investment, agriculture, cadre training and annual delegation exchanges.
In the coming time, the two sides agreed to promote cooperation in the fields of Party building, infrastructure development, education and training, trade and investment promotion, tourism, logistics, agriculture and business connectivity.
The two sides also agreed to effectively implement the High-Level Agreements and the Minutes of Cooperation for the 2026-2030 period, towards activities to celebrate 2027 - the Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year.
Vietnam - Laos strengthen theoretical exchange and propaganda
Also on this occasion, working with the Head of the Central Propaganda Department of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, comrade Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, informed about the innovations in propaganda and mass mobilization work of Vietnam, especially the results in digital transformation and dissemination of official information.

He highly appreciated the achievements of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, affirming that Vietnam always attaches importance to propaganda work on the great friendship between Vietnam and Laos and will continue to raise awareness among officials and people of the two countries, especially the younger generation.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to increase theoretical and practical exchanges, identify new cooperation topics after the two countries' Party Congresses, and continue to coordinate propaganda in the press and social networks to spread the tradition of special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.
