“Strategic stop” on the global world tour map
G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN HANOI, presented by VPBank , turned Ocean City into the music epicenter of Asia last weekend. More than 100,000 audiences from all over the world flocked to live the rhythm of G-DRAGON – the “King of Kpop” and global cultural icon.
“ I have seen many concerts in Thailand and Singapore, but nowhere has it brought me such a passionate and sublime feeling as in Vietnam. There is nothing better than enjoying a world tour right in my homeland ” – Khanh Trang, an audience member from Hanoi , shared.

Not only a music party, G-DRAGON's concert is also a testament to the world-class organization capacity, helping Vietnamese audiences experience world tour standards for the first time right in the country. From sound, lighting, stage, security, logistics to activities such as VIP soundcheck, send-off, every detail is operated smoothly and professionally.
“Kpop concerts, especially G-DRAGON’s, are always considered the “gold standard” in the Asian performance industry thanks to the perfect combination of art, technology and professionalism ,” said Ms. Nguyen Ha Linh - Master of Arts and Culture Management at Chung Ang University (Korea), lecturer at the Diplomatic Academy.

To bring the world tour of "Asian icon" G-DRAGON to Vietnam, 8WONDER - the music festival brand founded by Vingroup played the role of a strategic bridge and had to overcome countless strict standard barriers.
Meanwhile, V-Spirit, a new member company of Vingroup's Cultural pillar, is the direct organizer, ensuring that all work from technical operations, artist reception to audience experience meets global world tour standards. The success of this first world tour marks an important step forward, affirming the ability of Vietnamese enterprises to organize international events, while raising the standards for the domestic performance industry.
“ This event demonstrates two things: Vingroup’s international organizing capacity, and Vietnam’s new position on the global performance map. From an ‘audience market’, Vietnam has risen to become a ‘performance destination’, where stars consider it an important part of their international cultural exchange strategy, ” – expert Ha Linh emphasized.

From the 8Wonder music festival series gathering world-famous artists to G-DRAGON's World Tour, it shows that Vietnam has the capacity to step out into the world.
From the 8WONDER concert series, from Maroon 5, Charlie Puth, Imagine Dragons, J Balvin, The Kid Laroi to the G-DRAGON world tour, it has been shown that Vietnam is truly capable of "playing on the big stage". If in the past international stars only considered Vietnam as a test stop, now the global performance map has a new strategic coordinate - where artists not only "stop", but actually "settle".
Launch pad for the era of Vietnam's cultural and tourism industry
If G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] is a testament to the ability to organize world-class world tours, the ripple effect after the event shows the great potential of the integrated tourism - entertainment - culture model that Vingroup is creating.
The two concerts ended, but Ocean City continued to spread. From performance videos to moments when audiences checked in, enjoyed food, stayed, had fun… all created a natural ripple effect of a global music destination – where visitors not only come to see concerts, but also to live a complete cultural experience.
“ This is my first time in Vietnam. Ocean City is very clean, beautiful and convenient. I rented a homestay right near the stage. There are cafes, restaurants, shopping malls around... It feels like I am in a real 'festival city'. I will definitely come back here for the next concerts ” – Tori Lawrence, a British tourist, shared.

Social networks are flooded with compliments for the "fairy tale world" at Ocean City and Vingroup's organization.
According to expert Nguyen Ha Linh, the destination concert model – “concert associated with destination” – is commonly applied by countries with developed cultural industries. The close combination of tourism, art and services in an ‘all-in-one’ ecosystem helps expand the service value chain and position Vietnam as a regional creative entertainment hub.
Not only creating momentum for tourism, Vingroup is also contributing to shaping long-term standards for Vietnam's cultural industry.
Together with V-Spirit, the two companies V-Culture Talents and V-Film will form a "tripod" for Vingroup's Cultural pillar, aiming to preserve traditional values, promote artistic creativity and build an ecosystem to help Vietnamese artists develop their talents, make a living from their profession and contribute to art.
Expert Ha Linh believes that with this long-term investment strategy, Vingroup is implementing the spirit of the “cultural industry cluster”, a model of cultural industry development based on the connection between artistic creation, technology and service economy. This is the core factor for developing modern cultural industry.
“ Corporations like Vingroup play a leading role, investing in infrastructure, technology and high-class services, thereby turning cultural soft power into economic hard power, making Vietnam a new entertainment and cultural exchange center of Asia, ” the expert emphasized.
Musician Huy Tuan also shared: “ Culture is always the locomotive, the spearhead to be able to introduce the image as well as the success of a country. The participation of Vingroup or large economic groups in helping the Government build the cultural industry is not only a good thing for the Vietnamese music industry but also a good thing for the country .”
The success of G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN HANOI, presented by VPBank, not only affirms the international organizational capacity of Vietnamese enterprises, but also lays the foundation for a new era of the performing arts and cultural tourism industry. Vietnam is no longer a grandstand, but has truly stepped onto the world stage with dignity.
