Vietnam and Uruguay strengthen experience sharing in Party building work

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia shared about the efforts of the Communist Party and the Vietnamese people in recent times, especially the streamlining of the apparatus and building a two-level government.

On the morning of September 1, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, received a high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Uruguay (PCU) and representatives of the Broad Front (FA) of Uruguay attending the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the PCU and FA Uruguay sending representatives to attend the important and meaningful Anniversary of Vietnam; sincerely thanked the progressive political parties and people of Uruguay for always being united and enthusiastically supporting the struggle for independence and national unification as well as the renovation process of Vietnam today, especially their deep feelings for President Ho Chi Minh . Highly appreciating the ruling and political positions of FA Uruguay and PCU, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his belief in the strong development of the two parties and of Uruguay in the coming time.

Comrade Guillermo Rehermann, Politburo member, Central Secretary in charge of organization and personnel policy of PCU and comrade Claudio Abesun Lospez expressed their honor and joy to visit Vietnam and attend the great celebration of the Vietnamese people, sharing their feelings about the friendliness and pride of the Vietnamese people in preparing for the special event of the nation.

Representatives of the PCU and FA Uruguay highly appreciated the progress in the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the two parties in Uruguay in recent times, wishing to further promote the relationship, share experiences and theories on the path of building socialism, increase information exchange on the situation of the two regions and the two countries, and at the same time contribute to the development of economic, trade and investment relations between Vietnam and Uruguay in particular and the countries in the Mercosur bloc in general.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia shared about the efforts of the Communist Party and the Vietnamese people in recent times, especially the streamlining of the apparatus, building a two-level government, promoting 8% growth this year, and implementing party congresses at all levels towards the national party congress.

Regarding the relationship between the two sides, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his agreement to comprehensively promote the relationship, proposed to increase the exchange of delegations at all levels and at all levels, people-to-people exchanges, especially among the young generation, promote economic, cultural and tourism cooperation, step up propaganda about the country and its people, increase the sharing of experiences, theories and practices on Party building, the path to socialism in Vietnam and the Latin American left-wing movement, and continue to support each other at regional and international forums for peace, cooperation and development of the two regions and the world.
