Green Vietnam 2025 is ready to welcome guests with 'rain of gifts'

The Green Vietnam 2025 Festival will officially open to visitors from the morning of November 15 and last until November 16 at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, with more than 8,000 green gifts waiting for visitors.

On the evening of November 14, construction units were rushing to complete the final stages to prepare to welcome guests for the opening ceremony.

In the second year participating in the festival, many businesses invested more carefully from design to content, aiming to bring a multi-sensory green experience to visitors.

Mr. Tran Duy Khanh, an experience space designer for Signify Vietnam, said that this year's booth not only displayed products but also added interactive experiences. A miniature cinema was installed to introduce energy-saving lighting technology right at the festival.

Visitors will not only see the products, but also experience the light directly. "Signify's light bulbs can adjust the brightness with 16 million colors, saving electricity and providing the best lighting experience," said Mr. Khanh.

Meanwhile, a representative of TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company said that the entire experience space, partitions, and shelves at the festival were reused from previous events.

"The items displayed at the festival such as flower pots, card game sets... are all recycled from used milk cartons. This not only helps save costs but also emphasizes the message of developing reuse and reducing waste of resources," said a representative of TH milk.

Thousands of green gifts await visitors

Unlike last year, Green Vietnam Festival 2025 returns with many additional green experience activities.

Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Bui Phuong Thao, Director of Sustainability at AirX Carbon, said that this year's event will introduce many products from agricultural by-products, such as Netzero Pallet or cups made from coffee grounds, along with the process of producing biological materials.

"Last year, the program of exchanging coffee grounds for recycled ballpoint pens attracted a lot of young people. This year, we focus on introducing pallets made from coconut fiber, a new product aiming at green logistics," said Ms. Thao.

In addition, Ms. Thao said AirX Carbon will also organize more sessions to share startup experiences, promote innovation and recycle agricultural by-products with the message: "Today's by-products - tomorrow's materials".

A representative of Duy Tan Recycled Plastic Company Limited said that in addition to displaying recycled plastic granules and recycled products like last year, this year the company also prepared about 300 ballpoint pens made from recycled plastic to give to visitors.

"Adding interactive gifts helps customers experience recycled products in real life," he said.

According to the organizers, a total of more than 8,000 green gifts will be handed out to visitors. On the sidelines of the exhibition, two music nights will take place on the evenings of November 15 and 16 with the participation of many popular singers, "brothers", "beautiful girls say hi"...

Notably, this year the event also organized livestream sessions in collaboration with TikTok Shop, taking place throughout the two days, to introduce green products, recycled materials and sustainable experiences to visitors.

Join hands for a green Vietnam

The Green Vietnam Program was initiated by Tuoi Tre newspaper, the Department of Climate Change - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Vietnam Packaging Recycling Alliance (PRO Vietnam), in coordination with accompanying units and businesses.
