
According to data from the Customs Department, in October 2025, the country's goods exports reached 42.05 billion USD, imports reached 39.44 billion USD. The total export and import turnover in October reached 81.49 billion USD, down 1.2% compared to September, but the trade balance of goods still had a trade surplus of 2.6 billion USD.
Export turnover of goods in the first 10 months of 2025 reached nearly 391 billion USD, up 16.2%, equivalent to an increase of 54.56 billion USD over the same period in 2024. In the opposite direction, imports reached 371.44 billion USD, up 18.6%, equivalent to an increase of nearly 58.18 billion USD.
Total import and export turnover of goods reached 762.44 billion USD, up 17.4% (equivalent to an increase of more than 112.7 billion USD). In the 10 months, the trade balance of goods had a surplus of 19.56 billion USD.
Regarding state budget revenue from import and export activities, in October 2025 alone, revenue reached VND 41,564 billion, an increase of 10% over the previous month (equivalent to an increase of VND 3,770 billion).
Accumulated in the first 10 months of 2025, budget revenue reached 379,816 billion VND, equal to 92.4% of the assigned estimate, 80.8% of the target, an increase of 9.3% (equivalent to an increase of 32,384 billion VND) over the same period in 2024.
