VietABank cooperates to deploy multi-channel banking platform with VNPAY

On March 21, 2025, Viet A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VietABank) and Vietnam Payment Solutions Joint Stock Company (VNPAY) signed a cooperation contract to deploy an omni-channel banking system (OMNI Channel).

VietABank and VNPAY signed a cooperation agreement to deploy the multi-channel digital banking model

In its sustainable development strategy, VietABank persistently pursues the goal of digital transformation, increases investment in management systems, and integrates many solutions to develop digital products. Accordingly, Omni Channel is identified as a premise for VietABank to promote comprehensive digitalization.

With this cooperation event, VietABank aims to build an optimal system, integrating transaction channels (online and offline) to provide synchronous, seamless, and instant services, helping customers easily access banking services anytime, anywhere.

After being successfully deployed, the Omni Channel platform contributes to improving transaction processing speed, enhancing convenience, security and safety, while expanding the service portfolio, flexible according to customer needs. In the first phase, Omni Channel fully integrates the existing features of EzMobile, while adding many new products and utilities, bringing a seamless, optimal experience to users.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, a representative of VietABank emphasized: “The implementation of the omnichannel banking system is not only a technological innovation, but also a long-term strategy to improve the quality of products and services, bringing a convenient and consistent experience to customers. This is one of the focuses of VietABank in the digital transformation process, aiming for a modern, flexible banking model and better meeting the needs of the market”. VietABank also hopes that with its capacity, experience and advanced technology platform, VNPAY will implement the project on schedule, helping VietABank soon complete the omnichannel banking system, improve operational efficiency and create a solid foundation for the digital development strategy in the future.

Over the years, VietABank has always focused on investing in technology, clearly demonstrating its determination to comprehensively transform digitally. Traditional banking activities have been gradually modernized and digitized on the Digital Banking platform (Ebank/ EzMobile). VietABank applies eKYC technology to support customers in opening CIFs, accounts and registering for online services, helping to shorten transaction times and improve convenience.

At the same time, the bank has integrated many products, services and utilities into the EzMobile application to enhance flexibility and optimize user experience. In addition, VietABank has completed the implementation of biometrics to enhance security and ensure transaction safety for customers.

VietABank has been actively expanding connections with payment intermediaries, e-wallets, and Fintech companies to exploit partners' digital ecosystems as well as to expand products and services provided to customers, creating new business models.

In the digital transformation roadmap, VietABank has successfully digitized many important business processes. The iBPM document circulation system continues to be upgraded to increase utility; the iLOS credit file approval and management system continues to integrate products; the KPI credit scoring system; the HRportal human resource management system; the FTP internal cost management software... are also deployed synchronously, contributing to improving operational efficiency.

In particular, VietABank has put into use an internal credit scoring system based on the criteria advised by Ernst & Young, thereby accessing a reliable source of assessment data, supporting and facilitating customers to access loans.

In the coming time, VietABank will continue to invest in developing information technology infrastructure, improving management efficiency, developing modern products and services, and increasing convenience for customers. These efforts will not only help VietABank meet market demand but also create a solid foundation for sustainable development. In particular, the cooperation between VietABank and VNPAY in the Omni Channel implementation project will enhance customer experience, providing a fast, safe and convenient digital banking transaction solution.
