On November 22, 2024, VietinBank coordinated with the authorities of Xin Man district, Ha Giang province to organize the inauguration ceremony of social security works in Then Phang commune.
The sponsored projects include: Concrete road connecting Quan Then village school to the irrigation canal; Quan Then village cultural house; repair and upgrade of Quan Then Primary School with a total cost of 1,722 billion VND. These projects demonstrate the joint efforts and contributions of VietinBank with the local government and people in the construction of new rural areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Quy Hao - Acting Director of VietinBank Ha Giang shared: “VietinBank always strives to accompany the locality in social security programs. Through these practical projects, we hope to contribute to improving the lives, enhancing the material facilities and spiritual life of the people of Then Phang commune. VietinBank hopes that the projects will be used effectively, protected and preserved for a long time to maximize their value of use”.
In a joyful atmosphere, people gathered at the Quan Then Village Cultural House to share joy and express gratitude for the attention of leaders at all levels as well as the support of VietinBank.

Within the framework of the program, VietinBank Ha Giang Youth Union donated a reading room in Coc Re commune, Xin Man district with a budget of 15 million VND, along with many rich books for students and local people.
The reading room is a precious spiritual gift, contributing to spreading the reading culture, promoting the spirit of innovation, learning and improving knowledge. With this special meaning, VietinBank Youth Union wishes to support children and people in remote areas to access knowledge and develop more comprehensively.

Since 2009, VietinBank has supported over VND327 billion for social security programs in Ha Giang, including building schools, hospitals, housing for poor households, and transportation and cultural works. These efforts have created a sustainable foundation for the development of Ha Giang province.
