DNVN - In the first days of the new spring, Vietjet launched a flight route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Vientiane (Laos), expanding opportunities for economic cooperation, tourism development, and cultural exchange between the two neighboring countries of Vietnam and Laos.
Deputy Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Souvannaseng Amphay, leaders of the Lao Civil Aviation Authority, the airport, Lao Airlines, people and tourists attended the opening ceremony and congratulated Vietjet's new route.
The Ho Chi Minh City - Vientiane route serves passengers with a frequency of 4 round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, providing a complete flight experience to the "Land of a Million Elephants" in 1 hour and 45 minutes of flight time per leg.
Vietjet Deputy General Director Nguyen Thanh Son shared: "The route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Vientiane not only shortens the travel time between Vietnam and Laos but also expands the connection between Vientiane and destinations in the region and the world along with Vietjet's international flight network."
