Vietnam Airlines donated 1 billion VND and 2,000 warm blankets to Hue city to help overcome the consequences of natural disasters in 2025.

At the handover ceremony, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuong Van - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Branch of Vietnam Airlines Corporation - shared her sympathy for the difficulties and losses that the government and people of Hue city are suffering due to natural disasters; and expressed her desire to join hands and contribute to helping the locality quickly overcome the consequences of the storms and floods and stabilize the lives of the people.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, Pham Thi Ai Nhi, said that in recent times, Hue City has focused on decisively directing the work of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, prioritizing support for people to quickly stabilize their lives, restore production and business, ensure social security, and gradually restore socio-economic activities in the area.

Ms. Pham Thi Ai Nhi, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, respectfully thanked Vietnam Airlines for its timely and heartfelt support to Hue City; affirming that this is not only a source of material encouragement but also a great spiritual boost, demonstrating the social responsibility and sharing spirit of the enterprise with the community.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City also awarded the "Golden Heart" certificate to recognize the noble gesture of Vietnam Airlines in supporting disaster relief efforts in 2025.
