Vietnam Airlines signs strategic cooperation agreement with Singapore Aviation Services Group.

Vietnam Airlines, the national airline of Vietnam, and Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on December 17th.

Vietnam Airlines , the national airline of Vietnam, and Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on December 17th.

According to the recently signed agreement, SATS will prioritize Vietnam Airlines in providing ground handling and cargo services at airports within its network, while also supporting with equipment, personnel, and operational solutions to ensure high-quality standards.

Vietnam Airlines will prioritize the use of SATS and its affiliated companies' services when deploying operational packages in suitable markets, based on the principles of ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with legal regulations. Both parties agreed to continue discussions to implement future cooperation projects, including a plan to develop a new cargo terminal in Vietnam.

Mr. Le Hong Ha, General Director of Vietnam Airlines, emphasized: “The cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and SATS is an important step in our efforts to improve service quality, optimize costs, and strengthen the airline's international operating capacity. As one of Asia's leading aviation service groups, SATS will bring many added values to Vietnam Airlines' operations. We believe that SATS's partnership will contribute to creating more practical value for customers and for the development of Vietnam Airlines in the future.”

Leaders of Vietnam Airlines and SATS exchanged commemorative gifts at the agreement signing ceremony.

This agreement not only strengthens the foundation for ground handling and cargo operations but also expands the potential for collaboration between Vietnam Airlines and SATS in specialized areas such as developing air logistics chains and optimizing operational processes.

SATS is currently one of Vietnam Airlines' important partners in the international market. The group provides ground services and cargo at many key airports in the airline's network, including Singapore, Bangkok, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Hong Kong, London, and Paris.

With its consistently high service quality and extensive network covering 27 countries, SATS makes a significant contribution to Vietnam Airlines' international operations and is a crucial partner in the airline's efforts to improve service quality.
