Viettel develops dangerous weather warning software with Vietnam Airlines

Viettel Software recently signed a contract to develop a project to warn of dangerous weather and support operations for aviation exploitation with Vietnam Airlines.

Viettel Software Investment One Member Limited Liability Company (Viettel Software), a member unit of the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel), recently signed an agreement to develop a project to warn of dangerous weather and support operations for aviation exploitation with Vietnam Airlines Corporation.

This project is being jointly implemented by the two sides with the aim of enhancing weather monitoring capacity, increasing operational efficiency and consolidating the safety level of aviation services in the context of increasingly complex and volatile weather with many extreme phenomena.

Viettel Software is a leading software technology unit in deploying safety systems and was chosen by Vietnam Airlines as a partner in the process of building a modern weather warning platform.

This software platform will be able to warn of dangerous weather conditions, support impact assessment on flight phases, help the operations team access information quickly, accurately and to the right target. The solution will also be integrated into Vietnam Airlines' existing operating system, helping to ensure seamless and convenient implementation.
