This prestigious workplace award has been organized annually by Anphabe since 2013, sponsored by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and verified by Intage. The results are based on an independent survey measuring the Employer Brand health of more than 650 businesses in 18 industries, recording the objective opinions of employees to establish a standard scale and honor the best workplaces in Vietnam in 2025.
This title not only recognizes VNG's efforts in a challenging year for the Technology industry, but also affirms its long-term human resource strategy, human development philosophy and consistent corporate culture that have helped VNG appear many times in the list of the best working environments in Vietnam and Asia.
Ms. Tran Xuan Ngoc Thao, Director of Human Resources and Communications of VNG shared: "At VNG, we believe in the potential and ability to grow of each person. There is no perfect job or organization, but when each individual clearly sees the gap between the present and the goal and persistently narrows that gap, they create positive changes for the whole group. VNG chooses to accompany on that long journey, so that each step forward of employees becomes a common driving force. That is the Grow People spirit that we pursue."
Differentiated human resource strategy
The journey of growth of each Starter at VNG begins with a working environment that is good enough to stay long-term. VNG Campus - an open, modern space with full amenities from gym, yoga, swimming to F&B system and internal sports activities - meets the "demand pyramid" of more than 4,000 employees from more than 20 nationalities. Despite high operating costs, VNG still persists in maintaining this model as a commitment to put the spiritual experience of employees first.

Starter's growth opportunities also come from its different way of operating: leaders are willing to share, inspire and empower young people beyond their professional scope. The "challenge-embracing" culture helps employees confidently take on new roles and clearly see their path to maturity.

Thanks to the spirit of open empowerment, teams at VNG are allowed to test ideas continuously. Many initiatives create rapid impact such as GreenNode commercializing AI solutions in less than 6 months, or Zalo developing a large Vietnamese language model with GPT-4.0 equivalent capacity. More importantly, even unsuccessful projects leave valuable capacity and experience - something VNG values more than short-term financial indicators. The culture of "dare to try, dare to fail" helps the team always be ready both mentally and physically for new challenges.
Competency development system: from common platform to "two-layer" model
VNG not only encourages the spirit of daring to try but also invests systematically in training, considering core competencies as the foundation for the development of each Starter. The company deploys an online learning system, soft skills, provides Coursera accounts to more than 3,200 employees with 26,700 hours of study and creates conditions for potential employees to participate in leadership programs such as Leadership Matters, ACE or me.grow.
The "two-layer" development model helps VNG maintain a common competency framework at the corporate level, while empowering each business unit (BU) to design a roadmap suitable for the specific characteristics of the industry, products and team. Thanks to that, employees have a clear and flexible learning journey, not forced into the same mold.
VNG's recruitment appeal also comes from its network of cooperation with 35 domestic universities and 5 international partners. The 2025-2030 MOU with Ho Chi Minh City National University is an important milestone, committing 25 billion VND for R&D and co-training 1,000 students in three years. In parallel, VNG creates many practical playgrounds such as Code Tour 2025 or the Parallel Teaching program at UIT, where student game projects are supported for the first time to be commercialized on the App Store.

At the same time, diverse Fresher programs and the trainee system have helped VNG reach more than 11,000 potential young candidates by 2025.
The Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam® 2025 award not only recognizes VNG's continuous efforts in building the best working environment, but also affirms its long-term commitment to accompany the growth of each employee. "We want every employee to experience the feeling of 'working at VNG is the best thing', as well as always feel that there is an opportunity to become a better version of themselves here," Ms. Tran Xuan Ngoc Thao emphasized.
