With a passion for exploring nature and a desire to experience new things, Mr. Huynh Ba Luc and his wife Ms. To Thao Uyen (both born in 1993, residing in An Khe ward, Da Nang city) decided to renovate an old truck into a unique mobile home.
From here, the young couple's journey of traveling everywhere and doing charity work began.

Both husband and wife are freelancers, Mr. Luc and Ms. Uyen used to travel by motorbike often. However, carrying many bulky items not only makes it difficult to move but also poses potential traffic safety risks.
"When I watched videos about camping in a truck bed abroad, I found it very suitable for my needs, and my family already had a car, so I decided to do it," Luc shared about this bold idea.
The process of renovating the truck lasted nearly a month with a total cost of only about 30 million VND. Every step from the idea to the construction was carried out by Mr. Luc and his wife, ensuring compliance with regulations on vehicle registration and technical safety.
The interior of the mobile home is minimalist but fully equipped. Cooking, working and resting functions are cleverly integrated in the same space.
Mr. Luc said that the space for cooking, working on a laptop, and eating is the top priority. In addition, he also designed shelves and compartments to store spices and utensils, along with folding mattresses to save space when not in use.

After completion, the "house on wheels" has become a companion on many trips of Mr. Luc and his wife. Their longest trip was a journey of nearly 2,000km from Da Nang to Mang Den (Quang Ngai), continuing to Da Lat and returning to Da Nang via the coastal route of Dak Lak and Gia Lai.
On these journeys, the mobile home is not only a means of transportation but also a living and resting space, helping Mr. Luc and his wife to be flexible in time and space and clearly experience the pace of life of each locality.
In particular, during their visits to the highlands, Mr. Luc and Ms. Uyen often prepare old clothes and necessities to give to people in difficult circumstances.

Notably, Mr. Luc also participated in connecting and supporting the donation of 1,000 books to children in Nam Tra My commune, Da Nang city, with the desire to contribute to expanding knowledge and adding motivation to study for the children here.
More than a year and a half of living with the "house on wheels" has brought Mr. Luc and his wife many valuable lessons.
"Through each trip, we learn how to balance, cherish every moment and love and share more with people around us," Luc confided.
The journey of discovering beautiful landscapes and doing charity work helped the young couple learn how to slow down, discover themselves and spread positive values to the community.
A few months ago, Mr. Luc and his wife had twins, so they temporarily put their journey of discovery on hold to focus on taking care of their two young children. Mr. Luc said that after their two children are strong, they will continue to take their children along to explore many new lands in their mobile home.
