Schedule of 7 matches in Grand SF: Warriors EP05

Grand SF: Warriors EP05 will continue the success of the martial arts event series regularly held in Ho Tram (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau ). The 5th event will take place on January 17th.

This is the first martial arts event of 2026 organized by Cocky Buffalo – a professional martial arts training and event organizer in Vietnam – in collaboration with the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation and the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Federation.

The event will feature seven fights, with fighters from countries with developed kickboxing and Muay Thai traditions such as China, Australia, Poland, South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines.

This time, 5 out of 7 matches will feature talented and accomplished Vietnamese fighters. Spectators will have the opportunity to witness fierce battles between home and international fighters.

The highlight of Grand SF: Warriors EP05 will be the championship fight between Kieu Duy Quan and Chinese fighter Ma Lei in the men's 75kg weight class. Duy Quan has made his mark with numerous victories against international opponents at large-scale martial arts events in Vietnam.

High speed, sharp counter-attacks, and the ability to quickly finish fights have earned Duy Quân the nickname "the undefeated fighter," with a streak of 5 consecutive wins in professional competitions.

This time, the challenge for the 24-year-old title will be Ma Lei, a highly accomplished fighter with 70 fights and 35 wins.

In the opening match, Huynh Van Tuan (57kg weight class) faced another Chinese boxer, Chen Ahao. This was a clash of experience and class. Van Tuan (27 years old) boasts an impressive record with Asian Championships, SEA Games titles, and 8 national championships.

Next, SEA Games 33 silver medalist Tran Ngoc Man (63kg) will compete against Li He (China).

Two female martial artists from Vietnam enter the competition.

In the 53kg weight class, competing in Muay Thai, Asian runner-up and SEA Games champion Trieu Thi Phuong Thuy will face female fighter Wirunpat Kanokwan from Thailand.

Meanwhile, the reigning SEA Games 33 champion Nguyen Thi Chieu (57kg) is expected to face a major challenge when she takes on Polish boxer Lisowska Karolina.
