Volvo Vietnam confirms to launch XC60 and S90 2026

As Volvo's flagship mid-size luxury SUV, the 2026 XC60 is considered an important update in the product cycle, with an expected price from around VND 2.5 billion. The model continues to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz GLC and BMW X3.

The new XC60's exterior has been slightly refined in a more elegant direction. The radiator grille has a new shape inspired by the XC90, the "Thor's Hammer" headlights have been updated with sharp LED graphics, while the taillights have changed to a sportier dark tone. The alloy wheels have also been redesigned, making the overall car more modern and powerful.

In terms of interior, the XC60 2026 is equipped with an 11.2-inch floating center screen, running on a built-in Google platform that allows voice control, access to Google Maps, applications and vehicle information right on the screen. The display interface is more intuitive, with fast response speed thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon Cockpit Platform chip.

In addition, many interior details such as decorative panels, center console and wireless charging tray are also renewed, bringing a more sophisticated and luxurious feel. Powering the C60 2026 can be two hybrid engine options. The first is the B5 mild-hybrid version using a 48V electrical system, producing 250 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

The second is the high-end T8 plug-in hybrid combined with an electric motor, for a total capacity of 462 horsepower, 709 Nm of torque. The safety system is still Volvo's strong point. The 2026 XC60 continues to be equipped with the Pilot Assist package with technologies such as automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, 360-degree camera and active cruise control...

At the same time, the Volvo S90 2026 was also introduced with an expected price of more than 2.7 billion VND. This is Volvo's top sedan model, aiming to compete with the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The exterior design of the S90 is more sophisticated.

The hood and front bumper have a new look, while the diagonal grille and matrix LED lights that extend to the radiator cluster create a modern, technological look. At the rear, the T-shaped taillights connect on both sides to increase brand recognition and a sense of grandeur for the rear.

The interior of the S90 2026 is renewed in a luxurious and technological direction with an 11.2-inch central screen similar to the XC60, combined with an integrated Google interface, allowing access to data, navigation and smart applications.

The entire cabin uses Nappa leather, real wood and brushed metal, reflecting the typical Scandinavian minimalist style. The soundproofing and suspension systems have been refined for a higher level of comfort.

Powering the S90 2026 in some Asian markets will be a turbocharged 2.0L mild-hybrid powertrain, front-wheel drive or AWD options, and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version that can run on electricity for about 100 km according to WLTP standards.

The S90 is also equipped with the Pilot Assist safety package with automatic braking, multi-directional obstacle warning, distance assist and active steering assist, reinforcing the “Swedish safety” reputation that is the foundation of the brand.

Volvo Vietnam's simultaneous introduction of the XC60 and S90 2026 shows a clear step in the roadmap to electrify products and enhance the digital experience in the cockpit. The two new models promise to become outstanding choices for customers who love safety, technology and Volvo's signature elegant style.
