Competing at the 14th National Vovinam Strong Team Championship - 2023 with 100% of the young athletes, the Thanh Hoa Vovinam team won 1 silver medal and 6 bronze medals.

The 14th National Vovinam Strong Team Championship - 2023 took place from April 10 to 14 in Binh Duong , gathering 320 athletes from 30 provinces, cities and sectors across the country. Athletes competed in 26 weight categories in the combat category and 22 competitions in the form category.
Thanh Hoa Vovinam team participated in the tournament with 12 athletes and 4 coaches. This is considered an important tournament for Thanh Hoa Vovinam team to practice, improve their techniques, tactics and competition experience. These are all young faces who have just been selected and trained for the new stage, towards the 10th National Sports Festival.
The young martial artists of Thanh Hoa met many strong opponents from other units, including veteran athletes and national players. As a result, the Thanh Hoa delegation won 1 silver medal and 6 bronze medals. Many martial artists won medals in the competitions in the form content.
The silver medal went to Vu Thi Nga in the women's 48kg category. Bui Anh Tuan won a bronze medal in the men's 72kg category. Le Thi Hanh won two bronze medals in the boxing category with the exercises "Tai Chi Don Dao Phap" and "Tinh Hoa Luong Nghi Kiem Phap".
Two athletes, Ngo Hoang Phuong and Le Thi Thuy, won bronze medals in the “Women’s Self-Defense” competition. Athlete Ngo Hoang Phuong won another bronze medal in the “Five Gate Fist” competition. Athletes Le Thi Thuy and Nguyen Huyen Trang won bronze medals in the “Song Luyen Kiem” competition.
This is considered an encouraging achievement of young athletes from Thanh Hoa and also an important preparation step for the Thanh Hoa Vovinam team towards national and international tournaments in 2023.
