Mr. Y Ngon Nie added that the local authorities have taken the two children to their maternal grandparents' house in Ea Ning commune to take care of them. However, the maternal grandparents' situation is also very difficult, but since the children's mother has passed away, this is the most suitable solution.
“This afternoon (December 2), the Commune People’s Committee will send a delegation to visit, encourage and give gifts to the two children to improve their health and stabilize their spirit. The authorities are assessing the injuries on the two children’s bodies to have more basis to continue investigating the case,” Mr. Y Ngon Nie added.
Also this morning, some philanthropists who knew about the incident came to visit, encourage and give gifts to the children.

As reported by CAND Newspaper, on December 1, Ea Ktur Commune Police received a report that HHNN (born 2014) and her younger sister HLNN (born 2017) were locked in a room by their father, one of them was also chained to the bed shelf.
Immediately after that, the police force arrived at the scene to verify and summoned Mr. NTĐ to work. Working with the authorities, Mr. Đ. said that because the children's mother had died in a traffic accident, the two children had stopped going to school and had no one to look after them. Because he had to go to work every day, he locked his children in the room and chained their legs to prevent them from being naughty.
