Relatives of victims of Ha Long shipwreck call for help to find their loved ones
As Dan Tri reported, on the afternoon of July 19, the QN 7105 ship was traveling on route 2, on Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province), when it capsized due to a storm. At that time, there were 48 passengers (in Cau Giay, Hanoi ) and 5 crew members on board.

The ship in distress is the Vinh Xanh 58, license plate QN-7105, the owner of the vessel is Doan Van Trinh (in Quang Ninh ).
By 5:45 p.m. the same day, the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard coordinated with other forces to rescue 10 people and retrieve 3 bodies.
Information about the incident attracted public attention.
Talking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. D. (living in Hanoi) said that on the ship that had an accident in the middle of the sea, there were a couple who were colleagues. The family of 4 people boarded the ship at 1:00 p.m. and lost contact at 2:05 p.m.
"The wife was rescued by the rescue team, but there is no information about the husband and two children," this person said.
Mr. D. also informed that his company had just returned from a trip to Co To to Hanoi, and his colleague's family and his wife chose to travel to Ha Long separately.
"Right now, I'm very anxious, waiting for information from Ha Long. I hope my family will return safely," said Mr. D.
As night falls, rescue work is difficult.
Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Tran Van Hong - Head of Ha Long Tourist Boat Association said that the tourist boat capsized incident is still in the process of urgent rescue and investigation, there is no official conclusion from the police.

According to Mr. Hong, the initial cause was determined to be a natural disaster when a large thunderstorm suddenly occurred offshore in the area of Hon Ga Choi (also known as Hon Trong Mai, located in the southwest of Ha Long Bay, about 5km from Bai Chay beach).
The storm was very strong and caused serious damage. The time of the accident was determined to be around 14:05 on July 19. At the time of the accident, there were 48 passengers (in Cau Giay, Hanoi) and 5 crew members on board.
When reporters asked whether the passengers on the ship were wearing life jackets, the head of the Cruise Ship Association said that the ship had already left the dock and the passengers were seated. Due to the strong wind, the ship capsized in just a few seconds, so many passengers could have been trapped inside the cabin.
"It's getting dark so the rescue is facing many difficulties. However, our spirit is determined to do it to the end, not to give up. Currently, the authorities are still trying at all costs to search and rescue people," said Mr. Hong.
According to Dan Tri 's own source, the ship in distress was the Vinh Xanh 58, license plate QN-7105, and the owner was Doan Van Trinh (in Quang Ninh). By 5:45 p.m. the same day, the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard in coordination with other forces had rescued 10 people and recovered 3 bodies.
Currently, 41 people are still missing. Quang Ninh Provincial Police have mobilized PC01, PC08, PC07 and local police to focus on rescue and search for the missing people.
