Designer Vu Viet Ha impressed with the collection Pure Origin when he had the opening collection for Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2025 - Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week (AVIFW) .

The Pure Origin Collection is a story about the beauty of water, inspired by the story of the birth of life in the Muong people's epic De dat de nuoc . Using the language of contemporary fashion, Vu Viet Ha recreates the story with new fashion creations through modern language and perspective.

Miss Thanh Thuy performed an impressive vedette design. On a silver mini dress with sparkling sequins, the designer covered the upper body with a 3D sculpture of interwoven white circles like water bubbles rising above the waves. The structure covering the head and shoulders creates a surreal visual space, both soft and powerful.

Hand-knitted wool designs with new and impressive shapes and textures create interesting and attractive visual effects.

The silvery white silk design on a chiffon and sparkling sequin background leads the audience on a journey of water – a symbol of origin and rebirth. The highlight of the costume lies in the 3D circular structure that evokes the image of water drops in constant motion, both soft and architectural.

Besides the idea, the material is the central element that creates the soul of the collection. The pure origin begins with dreamy white silk strips, like the mist gently covering the surface of a lake in the early morning. The white color in the designs symbolizes water - the element that gives birth to life, and evokes the pure, pristine beauty of all things in the beginning. Under the light as gentle as the morning mist, each silk fold is soft and supple, like the breath of nature.

The designs gradually shift from light tones to warm blues, like the journey of people going through challenges to find new light. If silk is a symbol of soft origins, hand-knitted wool tells the story of creative hands - where the spirit of freedom and innovation is clearly depicted.

The designer has processed the rustic material into vivid 3D knitting stitches, evoking the natural flow in the cycle of life. The strong shape and clear structure show the rise of human beings in the vastness of nature.

Designer Ha Linh Thu impresses with "Black Parade"

Designer Ha Linh Thu presented the Black Parade collection in the final performance of the opening night of the AVIFW fall-winter 2025 runway . The designer said the collection was inspired by rock music and the song Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, while also honoring the military spirit - a symbol of discipline, honor and courage.

The opening performance of the Black Parade collection was The Face Vietnam 2023 Champion Huynh Tu Anh. She strode proudly in a black velvet dress covered in a long, smoky chiffon, combined with high-necked leather boots and handmade orchid details, recreating the image of a strong yet aesthetic modern female general.

The designs recreate the spirit of military and historical parades through the lens of contemporary fashion, blending Asian inspiration – where strength is softened by graceful cuts, balanced shapes and delicate velvet and silk materials.

Lai Mai Hoa presented the vedette design of the collection. The champion of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 shined in a see-through emerald green design with handmade 3D flowers, the fluttering skirt created a mesmerizing visual effect.

The main color palette is jet black and army green – symbols of depth and durability – accented with ruby red, pink and frost white like bright spots in the darkness.

Orchid motifs appear throughout the collection – sometimes in 3D hand-embroidered pieces, sometimes in abstract camouflage patterns that are both soft and strong, symbolizing the feminine beauty hidden behind a strong armor. Designs combine strong structured jackets with wavy skirts, wide-leg pants or long flowing dresses to create a captivating contrast between power and freedom.

Each design is completed with sophisticated handcraft techniques: hand embroidery, beading, 3D patchwork, affirming the enduring couture spirit and respect for craftsmanship - the core values that Ha Linh Thu always pursues.

Black Parade is a march to honor proud women – those who still stride calmly through the turbulent world , shining as if in a parade of their own.

In the second show on the evening of November 13 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Hanoi) of AVIFW, there will be 6 performances with Vietnamese representatives including Canifa brand, The Mad Lab and designs from students of the University of Industrial Fine Arts along with international collections from designers Natacha Van (Cambodia), Ajay Kumar (India), and Bandid Lasavong (Laos).
