The lighthouse became a stage.

“Long Vân Khánh Hội” – a 3D Mapping Lighthouse light show – is the new highlight of the upcoming VUI-Fest Ha Long night market. This production is designed as a visual journey, taking viewers through the historical, cultural, and modern layers of this heritage land using contemporary technology.

Inspired by the legends of the Dragon and the麒麟 (Kirin), familiar symbols in Vietnamese culture, "Long Vân Khánh Hội" recreates the story of Ha Long Bay through a combination of light, sound, laser effects, and large-scale moving images. Against the backdrop of the lighthouse architecture, layers of images are "painted" using technology, creating a multi-sensory experience amidst the expansive sea and sky.

On the evening of May 22nd, VUI-Fest Ha Long will officially introduce to visitors the "Long Van Khanh Hoi" show – a 3D Mapping light art performance on the Lighthouse.

In the show, the lighthouse is no longer a static architectural structure, but becomes a "pillar of light" – where nature, history, and people converge. The constantly changing movements of light awaken the structure, leading the audience on an emotionally rich storytelling journey about this heritage land.

The program's unique feature lies in its seamless storytelling, taking viewers through multiple layers of space and time in a single short experience. The journey begins with the moment a wonder is born, when the dragon and unicorn emerge from the depths of the ocean, creating Ha Long Bay with its thousands of magnificent limestone islands. From there, the story continues, leading the audience back to the vibrant trading era of Van Don port, where Ha Long Bay once served as a gateway connecting to the world since ancient times.

The atmosphere then builds to a climax with historical scenes such as the Battle of Bạch Đằng, where powerful light, sound, and rhythm recreate the spirit of national defense and resilience. Interspersed between these dramatic segments are moments of profound cultural reflection, as the journey takes the audience to Yên Tử – a land associated with Emperor Trần Nhân Tông and a meditative space amidst the clouds.

The VUI-Fest Ha Long night market, located in Sun Porto Town, Sun Elite City (Lighthouse area - Wonder Road), Bai Chay, attracts tens of thousands of visitors every day.

The story continues with the tale of Quang Ninh's mining region – a symbol of the local strength, will, and development energy – before concluding with the image of the Dragon and Unicorn soaring and converging at Sun Elite City, revealing a modern Ha Long that is powerfully rising from heritage to the future.

Shortly after opening on April 25th, the VUI-Fest Ha Long night market quickly became a new tourist attraction in Ha Long, drawing tens of thousands of visitors daily, and even up to 20,000 on peak days. This is seen as a positive sign for the revitalized night tourism scene in the heritage city.

Located in Sun Porto Town, Sun Elite City (Lighthouse Area - Wonder Road), Bai Chay, this entertainment, dining, and art complex is developed with inspiration from a "prosperous trading port," recreating the trading spirit of this heritage land in a contemporary festival setting.

The nightly fireworks display at the VUI-Fest night market has become a major highlight for Ha Long tourism this summer.

Visitors can start their evening by strolling through nearly 100 food stalls, featuring local specialties alongside a variety of international options. The port-themed space continues to expand with creative experience stations, interactive areas, and photo-worthy spots reflecting the festive spirit of the seaside. As night falls, VUI-Fest comes alive with VUI-Fest Port – a harbor-inspired art stage featuring indie bands, DJs, and street performers.

Throughout the experience, visitors will enjoy a spectacular display of red sailboats, highlighted by the image of a "light dragon" created from a combination of six sails and modern performance technology, recreating the trading spirit of this heritage land. A special highlight that makes this space so attractive is the nightly fireworks display illuminating the Hạ Long sky, combined with music and over 50 multi-layered light effects to create moments of explosive emotion.

Tickets to watch the first-ever light, music, and fireworks show in Ha Long are priced at 100,000 VND per person, including one drink at Sun Bavaria Ha Long restaurant (Lighthouse area). Drinks can be redeemed between 7:30 PM and 10:30 PM daily.
