On December 2, Naval Region 4 launched the “Quang Trung Campaign” to help people in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces build and repair houses damaged by floods. Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan - Commander of Naval Region 4 presided over the event.

With the motto "When people need, when people are in trouble, there are Navy soldiers", continuing to concretize the spirit of "Helping the People is an order from the heart", Naval Region 4 launched "Quang Trung Campaign" to mobilize forces and means with the highest sense of responsibility, urgency and speed to join the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces to focus on building and repairing houses of people who were heavily damaged after floods.

According to the plan, Naval Region 4 will coordinate with the Military Command of Khanh Hoa province and Dak Lak province to establish 40 teams of workers, each team from 12 to 17 people, including officers and soldiers with skills in construction, mechanics, carpentry, electricity, water, along with the unit's equipment and vehicles. The participating officers and soldiers will survey the extent of damage to each household; organize the construction and repair of houses according to the level of damage, ensuring safety, security and sustainability; support people in cleaning up the environment after the flood; closely coordinate with local authorities, militia forces and organizations to deploy effectively, to the right subjects, not leaving out households with heavy damage; complete and hand over new houses to families before January 31, 2026.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that this is an urgent and urgent task demonstrating the responsibility and affection of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 towards the people; contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the armed forces, building a solid people's position in strategic areas. To complete the task as quickly as possible, with high quality and efficiency, the Commander of Naval Region 4 requested units to deploy forces and means closely; quickly organize mobile formations to localities with heavy damage to help the people; closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to identify the right needs, the right subjects, and provide effective and practical support.

During the performance of their duties, officers and soldiers must strictly follow safety rules, strictly comply with military regulations and discipline when interacting with the people, and carry out the task of helping the people; uphold responsibility, assign scientific tasks, promote combined strength, ensure the construction of quality works, hand over on schedule, and contribute to the two provinces of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak to soon stabilize people's lives after natural disasters.
