Against a backdrop of a stable macroeconomic environment, the Vietnamese stock market in 2026 is converging many factors to elevate its position. The seminar, themed "Steadfastly Overcoming Challenges - Elevating Our Position," attracted the attention of investors as it outlined a positive outlook for the next five years.

A view of the seminar "Steadfastly Overcoming Challenges - Elevating Our Position" discussing the prospects of the stock market in 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the speakers' assessments, after an impressive growth year in 2025, the profits of listed companies in 2026 are projected to continue their upward trend of approximately 15%. The synergy from supportive policies and the inherent strength of the businesses will form a solid foundation for a breakthrough in stock prices.
Mr. Tran Duc Anh - Director of Macroeconomics and Market Strategy at KB Securities Vietnam, commented: "If listed companies achieve an average growth of 18-20% in 2025, then we can absolutely expect a figure of around 15% in 2026. When businesses maintain growth, the average stock price will also increase accordingly, creating a relatively positive outlook for the market."

Speakers predicted that the profits of listed companies could grow by approximately 15–20% next year.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - CEO of AFA Capital, analyzed: "We are in a new growth cycle from 2026 to 2030 with specific directions for various industry groups. In 2026, investors should focus more on the real value of businesses rather than overly emphasizing the VN-Index, which has shown some 'misalignment' in the previous period."
Experts agree that the key to "steadily weathering the storm" is focusing on the company's core values and staying abreast of macroeconomic drivers. Understanding core values instead of chasing large-cap indices will help investors optimize returns in this long-term growth cycle.
