On the evening of February 7th, the WeChoice Awards 2025 ceremony took place in Ho Chi Minh City with the message "Continuing the Vietnamese Story". This year's awards received over 1,025,421 nominations and more than 18,246,004 votes from the community, reflecting the widespread impact of positive values.
Under the evaluation of the expert panel, 5 Inspirational Ambassadors were announced, including the fetal cardiac catheterization team from Children's Hospital 1 and Tu Du Hospital; teacher Dinh Thi Kim Phan with 16 years of teaching literacy to child cancer patients; the film crew of "Red Rain"; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy with his research on disaster safety; and coach Mai Duc Chung - the man who brought Vietnamese women's football to international prominence.
In the category of Top 10 Inspirational Figures voted on by the community, the honored individuals reflect a diverse picture of resilience and dedication. This spirit is also demonstrated in the categories of "Inspiring CSR Projects" and "Reaching Out to the World," where Vietnamese businesses showcase their social responsibility and growth potential.
In particular, the "Projects for My Vietnam" category honors community initiatives that have made outstanding contributions to the economy, culture, and social life, such as the "Not Alone" campaign, the "Homeland in My Heart" program of the Nhan Dan newspaper, and the "Proud of Vietnam" campaign of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union .
In the film industry, "Red Rain" continues to be recognized by the community, breaking box office records while powerfully conveying messages of peace and patriotism. In the Young Face category, Lieutenant Le Hoang Hiep was honored for contributing to building a more relatable image of the modern soldier. The Rising Artist award went to singer CONGB with over 2.5 million votes.
Prior to the Gala night, the WeChoice red carpet attracted attention with the presence of numerous artists, creators, and business representatives in designs by Vietnamese designers and local brands, in line with the dress code "Vietnamese Designers & Local Brands".
The emotional highlight of the Gala was the performance of "The Epic" - an artistic chronicle recreating the journey of 21 inspiring figures of this season, from the survival story of fishermen in Ly Son, the sacrifice of "drone pilot" Hoang Van Thien during the devastating floods, to the special classroom for child patients.
The Gala's musical space revolved around the WeChoice Awards 2025 themed album, featuring performances such as "Continuing the Vietnamese Story," "PEAK!", "Little Hoa Ban Flower," and many collaborative performances by artists from different generations. The program concluded with performances showcasing Vietnamese cultural identity, such as "Bac Bling" and "Phu Dong Thien Vuong," affirming Vietnam's strong and resilient spirit.
WeChoice Awards is an annual award organized by VCCorp Joint Stock Company, aiming to honor individuals, events, products, and projects that spread positive values to the community.
