The World Health Organization in Vietnam has just issued recommendations on COVID-19 prevention for people during the upcoming holidays due to the rapid increase in the number of cases in recent days.

As the number of COVID-19 infections reported in provinces and cities nationwide is increasing again and the long holiday is about to take place, people need to be vigilant and not neglect to take preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection:
Wear a mask in poorly ventilated and crowded places.
Clean hands thoroughly with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub.
WHO emphasizes: Vaccines remain the most effective measure to prevent severe illness and death from COVID-19, so get vaccinated as recommended if you are in the group that needs to be vaccinated.
People still need to work together to implement these measures to reduce the risk to themselves and to the community.
Previously, the Ministry of Health also issued recommendations for people to prevent COVID-19 before the holiday. The Ministry of Health issued a message recommending measures to prevent and control COVID-19, people and the community proactively implement measures to prevent and control the epidemic according to the 2K Message + vaccine + medicine + treatment + technology + people's awareness and other measures.
The Ministry of Health recommends that localities proactively monitor and closely monitor the epidemic situation in the area; be prepared to respond to possible epidemic situations.
At the same time, strengthen the implementation of measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic ineducational institutions, monitor at border gates, in medical facilities and in the community to detect early and handle promptly, not allowing the epidemic to spread to the community; closely coordinate with units of the Ministry of Health to proactively detect early new variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
