Cam Hiep Commune launched the Month of Action for Gender Equality in 2025

On the morning of December 2, the Cam Hiep Commune Women's Union organized a launching ceremony for the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2025 with the theme "Gender Equality and Safety for Women and Girls in the Digital Age".

At the ceremony, the Cam Hiep Commune Women's Union launched and called on village women's associations to strengthen the dissemination of laws and cyber safety skills; integrate gender equality education into association activities; women's members in the whole commune actively study, participate in seminars and training on digital skills and protect themselves and their children in cyberspace; families and communities promote their roles and responsibilities in preventing violence, early detection and timely support for cases of abuse or at risk of violence. In addition, closely coordinate with departments, branches and organizations in supporting vulnerable women and children at risk of harm; encourage women to apply technology, develop the digital economy , increase income and take control of their lives.

In response to the Month of Action for Gender Equality in 2025, the Cam Hiep Commune Women's Union will be the core force in propagating, mobilizing, raising awareness of gender equality and preventing and combating gender-based violence; maintaining and replicating the models of "Family of 5 No, 3 Clean", "Women with Digital Safety"; supporting vulnerable women and women who are victims of violence to access counseling and legal aid services; accompanying members in the digital transformation process, helping women confidently participate in economic and social activities.
