The competition featured 14 schools and village art troupes, presenting many elaborately staged performances praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh , the homeland, the country, and the new spring. The performances showcased the spirit of unity, faith, and aspiration for the increasingly prosperous development of Dien Dien.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded 3 A prizes, 4 B prizes, and 3 C prizes to the teams; and also presented one outstanding prize to the inter-village team.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Dien commune presented 100 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to disadvantaged students in the area. The total cost of the gifts was 50 million VND, extracted from the commune's Fatherland Front relief fund.
