Ha Dong commune dialogues and resolves difficulties in compensation and site clearance for extended road 396

The leaders of Ha Dong commune (Hai Phong city) have propagated and mobilized 33 households to agree with the plan and promptly hand over the land to build the extended road 396.

Residents expressed their opinions at the dialogue session.

On the afternoon of July 18, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Ha Dong Commune ( Hai Phong City) held a dialogue with 33 households who have not signed the plan and have not received compensation and support for the extension of Road 396.

The 396 road project, which extends over 3 km through Thanh Quang commune, will reclaim land from 237 households. To date, the entire compensation plan has been approved, of which 204 households have signed the plan and received money, while 33 households have not agreed to sign the compensation plan, with a total of over 7 billion VND in unclaimed compensation.

Households have not signed to receive compensation for many reasons, including many households that have not been adjusted after land acquisitions since 2006 and 2012; 6 households whose part of the project was acquired requested compensation for the entire project; 5 households requested compensation for residential land because the land originated from another location...

At the dialogue, the specialized departments of Ha Dong commune answered and affirmed that the compensation plan was built in accordance with legal regulations.

The leaders of Ha Dong commune have propagated and mobilized households to agree with the plan and promptly hand over the land for the project to be implemented synchronously. In case of disagreement, the commune will develop a plan to enforce land recovery in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law, and hand over the land to the investor by the end of July.
